THE WORLD OF JENNI

Definition:

The world of Jenni (demons) is totally different from the world of angels and mankinds. Each has its different matter of creation , different characteristics but the world of Jenni is connected with the world of mankind in regard of the perception , the qualities of intellect and the ability to select the tred of god or sin.

The father of Jenni is Devil ( Iblis ) while the father of mankind is Adam , peace upon him . Regarding the nature of their creation , God the Almighty told us that they were created from fire when he said ( We created the demons from the fire of poisons ), his saying ( The demons are created from a tip of flaming fire ) . The scholars from the ancestors explained the words ( Marej Min Nar) as the tip of flame, as reported by each of Ibn Abbas , Ekrema , Mujahed , Al-Hassan , and so on . Al-Nawawi said: Al-Marej , is the flame mixed with the darkness of fire . Mankind was created from soil as we were already told by his Almighty God in his saying : ( Who stopped you from crawling when I ordered you , he replied I am better than him , you created me from fire and him from soil ( Also in his saying God the Almighty (consult them are they stiffer creatures or what we created, we created them from sticky soil. Also as had been reported in the discourse confirmed by Moslem in transmission from Aysha , transmitted from prophet God bless him and send him salvation who said : the angles are being created from light, the demon is created from dark edge of fire but Adam was created from what was already described to you. The demon was created before man and occupied the earth before him , this is confirmed in the saying of his Almighty : We created man from mud while we created demon from the fire of poisons ) .

Types Of Demons And Categories :

The demon is divided into three categories as already been specified by our prophet ,,,,,,,,,,,, when he said : the demon is three categories , one category flies in the air , another category is represented in snakes and gods , another category reside and marry “, reported by Al-Tabari , Al-Hakem and Baihaki soundly .

The demons are ordered and recruited same as mankind , they are ordered to believe in one God , believe , obey and worshiping .

Moreover they should not commit any tyranny or breech the doctrine of God , their Moslem is Moslem , the believer is believer , the atheist is an atheist . The obeyer to God and his prophet will enter the paradise but who object will go to hell , they are the same as mankind . The devidence is in his almighty the God when he said ( I only created the demon and mankind only to worship me ) . So they are the creatures of God , whoever rejects them is infidelling the numerous evidences in the Quran and Sunnah . There ever existed who rejects and denies their existence anciently and recently but we do not care . what we are concerned for is that they are a truth without any suspicion or lye . Corresponding to this we are going to release their news and conditions of their life , God is same for them and for us.

Do the Demon Eat and Drink :

As these things are of the invisibles in the state of the demons which we do not see , its compulsary for us as Moslems believing in the invisible to believe in all the invisibles as reported about the demons in an application to the characteristics of the believers in the invisible as God the Almighty said “ Alm , this book is authentic has all the guidance of the pious who believe in the invisible, pray and from what we bless them they spend , who believes in what is descended to you and what was descended before you , in the destiny they are sure “). The prophet God bless him and grant him salvation extended to us about the subject of demons with the assured news .

So my brother Moslem, the believer here are under the authentic evidence reported from the man who does not articulate in vain . The Al-Bukhari Saheeh (sound book) , reported from abu Hurairah – God may please him – that the prophet God bless him and grant him salvation ordered him to bring som stones to smolder it , then added : do not bring any bones or dungs “. When Abu Hurairah asked the prophet God bless him and grant him salvation about the secret of prohibiting the use of bones and dung , he replied : they are the food of demons .One day a delegation of Naseebeen , good demons , came to me and asked for food , so I bequethed God the Almighty that “they find their food on each bone and dung they pass by “, In the sound book of Moslem , reported by Ibn Masoud that the prophet God bless him and grant him salvation said : The communicator of demons recalled me and I went with him , then I read the Quran on them , he said : he leaded us onward where he showed us their traces and traces of their fire. They asked him about the food , he said : you can take all bones where the name of God is mention on and fells in your hands of meat , each dung of your animals . The prophet God bless him and grant him salvation said : Do not use them for purification , they are the food of your brothers . In the Tarmizi Sunnan

, of authentic dependence : do not do purification by using the dunky or bones , they are the food of your brothers the demons . Our priphet God bless him and grant him salvation told us that the devil uses his left hand in eating and he ordered us to differ . It is reported by Moslem in his sound book depending on Ibn Omar God may bless them that the prophet God bless him and grant him salvation said : Whenever anybody eats he should use his right hand and drinks using his right hand because devil eats and drinks using his left hand . In the Masoud of Iman Ahmad : Whoever eats using the left hand the devil eats with him , who drinks using his left hand the devil will drink with him . Also the Moslem is prohibited from meat where the name of God was not mentioned on it. Also the Moslem demon is prohibited from eating the dead meat because the name of Allah was not mentioned on it . So the meat slaughtered without mentioning the name of Allah will be eaten by the polytheists or who slaughter for some one else except God , same thing is applied on the devil.

According we see that the dead things are the food of devil . Ibn Al-Qayem concluded from the saying of Allah ( The wine , gambling , idols , arrows are the dirt of demon ).

The intoxication is the drink of the devil , it drinks from the drink which was made by his dependents upon his orders , participated in the process , so it participates in drinking and in the vice and the penalty .

Where do the Demons live and reside :

As we reported above , the demons are a nation like other nations , as long as God the Almighty created them , so he did not create his worshippers just for nothing , or leave them jobless . Same as all the creatures in the sky or on the ground or deep inside the sea , each has its own system and life . The fish live in water , if it is taken out of sea it will die , the mankind , birds and other animals which live on this ground if taken inside the sea , all will die , because God the Almighty made for each category its system , food and life different from others . The demons have their own life and living , food and drinking . They have places to reside in or especially for them , they may join us in some places . They reside the jungles , destructions , and empty houses , in the dirty places and cemeteries . As Sheikh Al-Islam Ibn Taimieh says: “ Sheikhs who marry them also reside these places which are the shelters of demons “ . Also they visit the places of entertainment , the markets where they avail in quantities to deviate people and spoil them . The prophet God bless him and grant him salvation advised his friends saying : As much as possible , do not be the first who enters the market or the last who leave it , it is the time of the devils battle in which he installs his flat “, reported by Moslem in his sound book . The demons also live in our houses with us but we do not see them , they may eat with us and drink with us but we do not see them as they are hidden from us as the God the Almighty sa: He sees you as well as his tribe from where you could not see them ) . Anyhow and in some occasions it may constitute , we will discuss in time as in thestory of abu Hurairah with them . So as not to complicate the matter in front of some people , sometime we mention the name Jenni ( demon ) and sometime we mention the name devil , so what is the relation between them .

Is the Devil origin from the Demon :

As discussed above , we mentioned that the devil is the father of demons same as Adam is the father of mankind . Through the context of Holy Quran it appears that the devil is of the demons as his Almighty the God said : As we ordered the Angles to bow to Adam they all bowed except evil who is from the Demons , strayed and denied the order of his God. Do you adopt him as well as his descendents your Idols and disobey me while he is your enemy , What a calamity , a tyrant substitute ) . It is a clear evidence that the devil or evil is from the demons . Its stray and disobeyance the orders of Allah , and his arrogance were the reason in his satanization by God the Almighty . Moreover its satanic quality derived him from the mercy of God . The people differentiated between themselves in this matter , some of them accepted this fact but others denied it and said something else . Sheikh Al-Islam Ibn Taimieh said in the total legal opinions : part 4 pages 234 , 346 ( some say that the satan is the origin of the demon same as Adam the father of the mankind ) .

The Shaping of the Demons or Satan :

One of the mercies of God to this creature the mankind that he made the satan and his party from the rebellious and mischievous creatures , …..etc from who else comes under the name Demon , invisible to them because God the Almighty knows that their shapes are ugly . The eyes and intellects of the mankind may not comprehendthe degree of ugliness in which the satans are created . God the Almighty described to us in his Holy Quran the ugliness of the satan when he pictured the Zaqqum tree which grows up in the hell with devil like heads depending on his knowledge of the ugliness of their pictures and shapes . He, the Almighty God said ( it is a tree grow up from the hell origin , its spadix like the heads of the satans ) .Our prophet God bless him and grant him salvation said : The devils have horns and the sun rises from between the two horns of the devil”. From all this , it is clear that the appearance of the satan , devil or demon is too ugly in front of us , the man , whatever he is , except the messengers and prophet , cannot look and see the devil in his real shape in which God created him in rejection to what some ignorant people pretend , when God the Almighty says : he sees along with his tribe from a place you could not see them ) .. Regarding the prophets and messengers , God shows them what he decrees or wants .

The satan or Demon can transfer from its quality which God created to any other quality such as in the shape of a Dog or snake or scorpeon or human , and so on , same as happened during the period of the prophet God bless him and grant him salvation who saw the satan in more than one situation and the form of known and unknown person . Once the prophet God bless him and grant him salvation was speaking to his friends when a strange man entered , he was of bad smell , ugly looking , and of dirty clothes , at once the prophet God bless him and grant him salvation tells the presents that it is the satan who cane to skeptic them in their religion matters .

Hereunder , dear reader , a light story took place with Abu Hurairah and reported by Al-Bukhari . Abu Hurairah , may God bless them , The prophet of God entrusted me to preserve the Ramadan elms , a man came and stole some food , I caught him and said that I will transfer you to the prophet God bless him and grant him salvation , he said I am in need and have a family and I am deadly in need . He said : I released him , but in the morning the prophet God bless him and grant him salvation said : Hay Abu Hurairah what did your prisoner did yesterday ? I said : O, Messenger of God , he complained that he is deadly in need and have family , so I released him , he said : he lied on you and will be back again . So I came to know he will come back in belief to the saying of the prophet God bless him and grant him salvation . I watched him , he came crawling to steel some food , I caught him and said : I will send you to the messenger of God , God bless him and grant him salvation , he said : please release me I am in need and have a family I should go back to them , so again I released him . In the morning , the messenger of God , God bless him and grant him salvation said : Hay Abu Hurairah , what did your prisoner said : O, the messenger of God , God bless him and grant him salvation , he complained crucial need and family waiting to eat so I felt sorry for him and released him.

He said : he lied on you and will come back . So I watched him for the third time , he came after food , I caught him and said : I will transfer you to the messenger of God , God bless him and grant him salvation , it is the third time you pretend not to come back but you return , he said , release me and I shall teach you such word will benefit you by God , I said what are they ? , he said : when you go to bed read the Kursi verse : ( No God but Allah the eternal living and master …..until the end of the verse ) , you will be protected by God , no devil will come to you until the morning , I released him and in the morning the prophet God bless him and grant him salvation said : what did your prisoner said yesterday ? I replied : O, messenger of God , God bless him and grant him salvation , he pretended to teach me some words may God benefit me with so I released him . He said : what are they ? I replied : he said to me : if you go to bed , read the kursi verse from the beginning until the end ( There no God but allah , the ever living , the Master) and told me God will protect you and you will not be afflicted by any devil until morning . The prophet said : He said the truth although he is liar , do you know whom you were discoursing with since three days , Abu Hurairah ?, he said no , He said : The devil .

Is it really that Demon resides in the human body ?

The enmity between devil and human since the first instance when God the Almighty created Adam , peace upon him , even before this time when Adam was in the form of body and before the soul was blown in him . He was an idle corpse from mud when the devil saw him and found him empty . He used to enter from his mouth and go out from his ass , enters from the nose and exits from ears , he was hollow . The hollow thing is not solid , so he used to say to him: you will be something , if I would be ordered to obey you , I will not but I was ordered to master you I will destroy you . It is reported in Moslem Sound Book as reported from Anas that the messenger of God , God bless him and grant him salvation , said : When God the Almighty featured Adam in paradise, he left him like that , he told Satan to rove around him , see what a shape is , when he saw him hollow , he came to know that he is a creature not solid . when God the Almighty blew the soul in Adam and asked the angles to bow to him , Satan denied and refused and gave himself the priority on Adam , he was the most worshipper to God , so he was self deceptive , how to bow to this creature from mud , he disobeyed God and did not submit to the order of God which included the angles with him . The angles submitted but he was arrogant and refuse , s he was sent out from the mercy of God and sent outside the paradise which does not open for any arrogant and self deceptive creature . When we come to know this , we should know that the matter did not stop at this point but exceeded it to more when the devil warned Adam and his off springs by attempt , astray . He will order them to change the creation of God , God extended the matter with him till the doomsday , God his a wisdom in this , otherwise God is able to destroy him in that instance . Accordingly God the almighty mentioned to us thidescription in his saying : ( Say , do you see that creature whom you preferred than me, if you postpone it till the doomsday , I will destroy his off spring but very little remain ). And in his saying ( I will astray them , give them hopes , order them they change in the creation of God , who follows the devil instead of All will loose totally ) .The verses in this concern are very much . The enmity is going on and will continue as long as life is existing because the devil believes that the reason for his leaving the paradise and dismissal from the mercy of God was because of Adam but not because of his arrogance and superiority . So the avenge will continue from the off springs of Adam as he was the reason for dismissing of our father from paradise . If we contemplate we will find that God afflicted Adam with the Satan and afflicted the Satan with Adam so as the paradise will be filled with the pious worshippers and hell will be filled with atheists , polytheiste , hypocrite and disobedience . God has his affairs with his creature , has the impressive wisdom . So we find that the first touch from Satan to man is in the first hour of birth . It is confirmed by evidence as reported by Al-Bukhari : The prophet God bless him and grant him salvation says : each human being is being thrusted from both sides upon birth except The Jesus son of Mary ,whom they wanted to thrust but failed except in the amulet .. It is reported in Al-Bukhari also “ no body from Human beings newly born but touched by the devil so as to begin with some of the devil’s touch except Mariyam and her son . The reason of the protection of Mariyam and Eisa is that God the Almighty responded to the request of Mariam’s mother ( I pray to God that he guard her as well as her ancestors from the cursed demon ) .

This is the first harm affliction by devil to any newly born human being from the off springs of Adam . All this introduction and evidences from the clearly understood and confirmed verses as well as the discourses of the prophet are only an itroduction to the main subject of this chapter , i.e. worn in the body of man , what we call the epilepsy . Many people spoke in it from the scholars from ancestors to descendants . Before beginning to discuss the saying of people of science and any description , we would like to begin with the leader of the scholars God bless him and grant him salvation and if anything of this type happened during his time ? He is the example for all people best prays and most honest salutation on him . Whatever confirmed during his period is the right and acceptable , but what was not confirmed is not correct .

Yet it happened during the period of the prophet God bless him and grant him salvation several times , the evidence for what was preserved more than what was not preserved . In Abu Dawood Sunnan and Imam Amhad dependence book (reported by Im Aban daughter of Al-Wazea bin Zarea bin Amer Al-Abadi , transmitted from her father that her grandfather Al-Zarea went to the prophet God bless him and grant him salvation along with an insane sons , or the son of his sister . My grandfather said : when we reached the prophet God bless him and grant him salvation I said : I accompanied with me a son of mine or my sister’s son , I bring him to you to pray to God for his salvation , the prophet said , summon him , H said I brought him while riding and removed the travel clothes from him and dressed him two nice looking clothes and we met the prophet God bless him and grant him salvation , he said bring him nearer , make his back in front of me , he took out the clothes out of the boy from up until down and began beating his back until I saw the whiteness of the armpit while saying : Come out you enemy of God , come out you enemy of God , then the boy began to look correctly , not as before , then the messenger of God God bless him and grant him salvation seated him between his hand and washed the boy’s face with water and after the invocation of God for the best of the boy , no one of the delegation looked better than the boy .

In the Musnad of Imam Ahmad , transmitted from Baali bin Murrah , he said : I saw three incidents from the messenger of God God bless him and grant him salvation no body had even seen before me or would see later . I went out with him in a travel until we reached a road where there was a woman sitting with her son , she said O messenger of God : This boy is inflicted until he inflicted us only , he is seized several times that I could not fix . He said : bring him up to me , I raised him , then he kept a distance from the boy and opened his mouth and blew air three times and said : In the name of Allah I the worshipper of God , you baser the enemy of Allah , then he brought the boy back to her and said : If we meet while coming back in this place , tell us what he did . he said we went and came back and found her in that place along with three goats , he said : What did your boy make ? She said : O by the name of God who sent you with all right , we did not feel anything from him until this time , please take these goats , he said to me : “go and take one and leave the others “.

From what reviewed from Al-Mostafa God bless him and grant him salvation , the two clear and great discourses are enough to reply on any interpreter and lyer who does not believe that demon overwhelms the body of the man .

Regarding the experience in this regard of our ancestors and their followers it is very much , let us take for example the Imam of Sunnah and nation Ahmad Bin Hanbal , may god bless him and pay mercy upon him ( it is reported that Imam Ahmad was sitting in his mosque when a friend came to him as a messenger from Al-Khalifa Al-Mutawakel and told him that there is a slave woman in the house of the prince of believers suffering from epilepsy .

He sent me to you to pray for her recovery . The Imam gave him two wooden clogs and said : go to the house of the Amir and sit near the head of the slave girl and tell the demon : Ahmad is telling you : which is better for you to leave this slave girl or to be slapped with this clog seventy times ? the man went along with the clog till he reached the slave girl and sat beside her head and did what the Imam told him ,

Then the demon replied through the tonue of the slave girl , all listening and obeying to Ahmad , if he ever orders us to leave Iraqi we will leave , he obeyed God and whoever obeys God everything will obey him , then left the slave girl who calmed down autoatically and delivered several kids .

When Imam Ahmad died , the demon came back to her , then the amir called a friend of Ahmad who came accompanied with the clog and said to the demon : get out otherwise I will beat you with this clog , then the demon replied : no I obey you but I will not go out . Imam Ahmad bin Hanbal obeyed God who ordered us to obey him .

Sheikh of Islam Ibn Taimieh mentioned in the book of legal opinions that the demon’s fighting of man might come from desire , love and passion same as in the came of human race .

Here we have the student of the sheikh of Islam Ibn Al-Qayem in his valuable book “The propetical medicine “ where he reports a discourse and specify the subject of epilepsy and the overwhelming the man by demon , he says : texted in the two sound books reported by Ataa Bin Abi Raban who said : Ibn Abbas said : do you like me to show you a woman from the people of paradise ?, I said : yes , he said : this negro woman came to the prophet God bless him and grant him salvation and said : I have epilepsy and I loose my clothes , please pray to God in my favour , he said : If you wish to be a patient you will go to paradise , but if you wish I pray to you to recover .

She said : I will wait and suffer , then said : I am uncovered , please invoke God for me , he invoked .

That is what happened with the negro woman . Ibn Al-Qayem said : The epilepsy is two types : An epilepsy inflected by the vice ground sould and epilepsy of the dirty mixtures . The second is the one which the doctors speak about , its reasons and treatment .

Regarding the spiritual epilepsy , both their spiritual leaders and speople confess it and do not deny it and confess that its treatment begins by the confrontation between the noble upper good souls and those vicious malignant souls to fight against their traces and object their doings and vanish them .

Apocrates dictated this opinion in some of his books .

He mentioned some types of epilepsy treatments and said : Only the epilepsy which came from the mixtures and the materials can be treated . Regarding the epilepsy which came from the souls , there is no treatment for it .

The ignorant doctors as well as the filthy ones and lowly ones who believe that blasphemy is a merit .

They reject the struggle of souls and do not submit that theyaffect in the body of the patient , their companion is ignorance .

We think it is sufficient here to mention what Ibn Al-Qayem said . Whoever wants more description , should refer to the prophetical medicine book , page 51 .

Regarding our present days in which we live as well as other of physicians , it is bigger and much larger to be counted in number and quantity . It is not all the cases already treated by physicians are overwhelming and demonic . What we hear these days of murmuring in referring each disease to the demon , spell , enchantment and evil eye .

It is nothing than a foolishness , ignorance , absence of knowledge all together . Much of the states are because of problems and diseases which might be mental or physical or psychological because of such social problems and the intent to flee far from confronting . Some of them refuge to treating bodies while thinking that the matter might be an evil eye look or enchantment of satan overwhelming .

We look to God the Almighty and request all health and recovery from any evil for both we and our Moslem brothers and sisters …….Ameen .
